OSRA Primer Seminar for Referees Seeking Upgrading.
This seminar is for those referees seeking OSA upgrading from District to Regional/Provincial.
Course of Study.
Four simple questions. Opening session of 15 minutes. Q & A.
Explanation of Careless; Reckless and Excessive “force” as laid out in Law 12.
60 minutes of video and PowerPoint presentation and question/answer.
Free Kicks around the Penalty Area. All aspects of preparation and man -management skills. Video examples with question and answers. (60mins)
Offside. Video Presentation of the FIFA/CSA video with explanation from a FIFA referee. (60 mins)
Starts and Restarts; Video presentation and PowerPoint. (60 mins)
Preparing for an exam; Group sessions with questions , answers and explanations. How to answer questions as well as how to choose the right answers in multiple choice papers. (60 mins)
Date; Saturday April 4th 2009
Time; 9.30 am to 4pm Lunch provided.
Free to OSRA Members ( There is a $25 returnable deposit in case of last minute cancellation by the candidate.)
Number of spaces 25: Age Limit. Those referees under the age of 35yrs will be selected first.
