Scarborough mourns the lost of a friend and colleague (Harry Di Ciacca)

Scarborough mourns the lost of a friend and colleague (Harry Di Ciacca), who passed away at the age of 68 on Friday January 6th 2017. 

Harry served the Soccer community for almost 40 of these years, as a referee and an administrator. He will without a doubt be sadly missed.

It is an established fact, that soccer referees have two distinct families, as far fetch as it sounds it is true. The referees association is one of the extended families of a soccer referee. The Scarborough Soccer Referees Association is extremely proud of its members, especially members who have attained many, many years of service and have developed good relation with his/her colleagues as Harry has accomplished before he passed away on January 6th. The wonderful memories he has left with all of us will forever linger in our hearts and minds. Harry will be remembered by the Referees Association for his friendship, dedication, honesty, and always willing to help others. The soccer community in Scarborough has lost a true ambassador of soccer. Without a doubt, the soccer community has lost a true friend The Scarborough Soccer referees Association and its membership extend sincere condolences to his family.

“Harry passed away suddenly on Friday, January 6th, 2017. Harry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving wife Delia, Daughter Sharon, Son Kevin, Daughter in law Vanessa, Son in law Bob, Grand kids Olivia, Kaitlyn, Liam, Jordan and Kailee. His brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.”
